Good story

Halle went and stayed at grammy and grandpa's house last night. My mom told me that at around 1 o'clock in the morning she heard some noise so she went to check on Halle. She went into the bedroom and could not find her. She went out to the living room and could not find her she went and searched her room and her closet and could not find her. She then went and woke up grandpa. Grandpa flew out of bed, like Superman, and ran around the house looking for Halle. They heard some noise downstairs and went downstairs there halle was on the couch. She looked right at Grammy and said the heater is making me scared. Grammy was pretty sure the only reason how I was downstairs on the couch was so that she was able to bounce. Halle  will go anywhere to do her bouncing.

Early raiser is something that most people would use to describe me.

My kiddos do the same thing.

Granted they go to bed at 7:00pm... they wake up around 6:30am.

I always love snuggling up with the babies in the morning.

Potty Fairy

The potty fairy came and visited the Blake household today.  The fairy came and brought Halle some fiber gummies and a note.  The note said this: dear halle. This present is just for you. I heard that you are having a hard time going poop on the potty. Take two Gummi beats everyday and I promise it will take the hurt away. Love the potty fairy...

Here's to hoping this works!!!!

Bed head

He must have slept well!!!

Here Halle is getting all snuggled up with Grandpa for naps.

Then she is starting to tell him here that she is just going to go and lay in her bed by herself.

Grandpa was a little sad that there was no snuggle session...

This is how the drive up to the cabin went this morning... long with lots of stops and screaming.  But once we made it up there we had a great time.

Abel and Halle played outside a lot today!

Abel enjoyed hanging by the fire.

and both took rides on the 4 wheeler.

and Abe took more rides on the 4 wheeler.

Abe spent the first day outside for 3 1/2  plus hours.. Halle followed after nap time.  Great fun for Everyone!

Some of my best memories from being a kid was at the cabin.  Abe and Halle love being up there... We are so blessed to have a great place to getaway to whenever we please!

2 Years Old

Abel Edwin Blake is 2 years old....

where did the time go???

I ask myself this question on a daily basis.

Abe is a great kid.. he has added so much to our family in the short 2 years that he has been here.

Here are something that Abe does:

LOVES bath time and honestly bathes the entire bathroom everytime he takes a bath!

Still not a huge fan of driving in the car.

It a pretty good talker. still hard to understand some things but really does try to say alot of things throughout his day.

Takes one nap a day

is one super busy boy... constantly on the go.

Loves boy stuff: tools, trucks, balls.

also likes playdough

loves to eat pizza

loves chocolate milk

is a great helper

loves his little brother

goes to nursery at church and does not cry

he hardly cries.. only when he is really hurt.

is a real sweet heart.

Thank you Abel for being an amazing little boy.  

You honestly make our home a better place.

Thank you for your sweet heart and kind spirit.

WE LOVE YOU... and thanks for coming to our family.

make all my days merry and bright

Being a mom to these three makes all my days merry and bright.

Being a mom is the best gift that I have been given in this life thus far.

It is not always easy... actually most days very very hard..

but every day is worth it.

I love being able to have my kids at home with me each and everyday.

These three teach me more and more about life each day.

Having children in the home helps me understand Heavenly Father's plan for each of us.

Having them in our home helps me understand Heavenly Father's love that he has for each of us.

They have taught me more about love and life in these past 3 1/2 years then I ever thought possible.

Thank you Halle, Abel, and Noah for being my bright light each and everyday. I LOVE YOU!

never happens

Abel actually watching and enjoying a movie... but lately he has been digging on Toy Story he will only watch like 30 minutes or so.. but I will take it! because I have been loving the time off when he watches it.

Abe's 2nd Birthday Party

Today we celebrated Abel turning 2.. and we all had a great time.  We decided to do the party at the church gym.  That way i do not have to clean my house and there is WAY more room for all parties to run around and burn off energy.  So here are the details from the party.  We had bird house to paint.  There was target shooting with nerf guns.  There was pin the tail on the fox.  There was also timber bowling and lastly there was stack your lumber.  All toddler approved and Abel had a hoot playing all the different games.  For dinner we had sloppy joes or BBQ chicken sandwiches, clementines, veggie tray, popcorn, and trail mix.  Then Merilee made this AWESOME woodland themed cake, that was AMAZING!!!!!  We finished off the party with opening up presents.  Abel got a bunch of fun new toys to play with some include: playdough, tools, trucks, fireman outfit, nerf gun, and much more! The day was perfect! And Abel had a great time at the party.  All wins in my book!

Alan recently switched to 2nd shift... and I find myself doing this alot...

taking selfies.......... NO.... staying up way to late waiting for him to get home.

I am so beyond grateful for this new job that Alan has gotten.  There is not doubt in my mind that this job was God sent.  Heavenly Father knew what was going to happen at the other job and opened up these doors for Alan to get back in with Pace.  Thank you Heavenly Father again for your sweet tender mercies towards our family.  Alan is so happy with the move.  I am so very happy with the move. And the kids love having him around all morning.  We are all winning!!!!

10 boxes....

This is my sweet daughter Halle after nap time today... you want to know what she did?!?! she unloaded 10 boxes of kleenex while she was supposed to be sleeping?!?! Mom moment of the year... Seriously 10 boxes. I wonder what she was thinking while unloading all of those boxes.  You would think it would get old after the first 2 or 3 boxes, but oh no my daughter goes all out and unloads 10 boxes.  My oh My.. i lost it..
I was super angry.. and yelled and later felt super bad about yelling at her.  I went and apologized for my behavior and then Halle apologized for her choice,
Motherhood has its moments.. and I could continue to be mad about this situation or I could decide to move on and forget about it.  I will say that I have poked a little fun at the situation since then just because it was so outrageous but for the most part i have let it go.

Times like these i want to remember to always make lemonade out of lemons....

Sometimes i think that these two do not look alike.. and then i take pictures like this and I am sorely mistaken.

They are totally brothers and they totally look alike!

also a little shout out to Halle.  She is such a great big sister.  She is so kind and loving.  She really wants to be nice and helpful with Noah and Abel. It is so nice watching how she is with her brothers.  Melts my heart on many different occasions

Carnival

We made the trek to the JM winter kids carnival. All the proceeds from the carnival go towards a charity so for a good cause we headed down. The kids had fun playing a fishing game. Cookie walk. Bowling. And most importantly face painting. I was actually quite shocked that both Halle and abel sat down and get their face painted. It was a great way to spend the morning!!

Noah's new favorite place to be...

He is now loving the jenny jump up!!!

Not jumping around quite yet.. but will hang out there for a little bit and that helps this mamma out for sure!

Holiday Party

I decided to do a holiday party for my nieces and nephews this year.  I invited them all over to make a couple different crafts... have pizza... decorate cookies... and watch a movie.  It was so nice to have them all over and have fun together.  I think that the party was a hit!!!

YAY for holiday parties.. I am thinking that this might be a new tradition!
