Alan and the kids went over to Austin for the morning.

Noah and mom had a morning to ourselves and we were able to get out and take a nice walk together.

We are heading out to lunch this afternoon for grandpas birthday.. can not wait to indulge in John Hardy's!

Happy birthday Grandpa.  So grateful for you in our lives!

The kids decided to put on some interesting outfits today.

Abe was in rainboots, shorts, long shelve shirt, and goggles.  

and Halle was in all sorts of patterns.

Love each of their large personalities!

We were out running errands today and decided that we needed a little break at a park.

We had a great time exploring a fun park.

and then went back to errands.

Love that we have these moments together as a family.

Love Love Love this family of mine.

The story goes like this.

Turned tub on.

Put Abel in.

Turned tub off.

Went downstairs to talk with our contractor.

Halle runs down stairs and says, "mom there is a ridiculous amount of water in your bathroom."

I run upstairs.

Find the tub overflowing.

Find that water has reached the carpet.

Find that water is all over the floor

and

Find Abel having the time of his life...

life is always interesting in this house.. always!

Morning cuddles and pictures with mom!

1 year old

We have a ONE year old on our hands!!!!

Our sweet Noah turned one today.

Where did the year go?  I am still not sure.

Noah is one sweet boy though.

His smile... oh his smile.  It is one feature about him that I absolutely LOVE.

His curls, oh the curls.  Most everyone we walk by will stop and admire his sweet, strawberry blonde curls.

His personality is goofy.  He likes to make people laugh.

He loves music... and it a great dancer.

he also loves bath time.

he is a great sleeper and loves nap time.

he tolerates his siblings at the moment.

gets around by crawling, not too interested in walking

has a full set of teeth including all of his one year molars.

loves being outside

and is great at riding in the car.

Noah thank you for this wonderful first year.

You have taught our family to continue to laugh, smile, and not take things so seriously.

WE LOVE YOU NOAH!!!

we have thunderstorms this evening.

and these sweet kids are a little scared.

So we spent tonight snuggled in bed, watching a movie, and staying up past our bed times.

It was fun!!! and gratefully the storms stopped so these sweet little people could rest peacefully in their beds!

This sweet girl made me a mom four some years ago...

I am beyond grateful for this role in this life.

Thank you Halle for the sweet little beautiful girl that you are becoming.

You teach me so much each and every day.

It is a pleasure to be your mom!

Today we had Noah's first birthday party.

and he LOVED his big ol' cookie!

We had our family and friends over to celebrate this sweet dude.

We set up a slip and slide in the back yard... but Noah just enjoyed himself in the water table.

We had pulled chicken sandwiches, cole slaw, beans, chips, fruit, and LOTS of cookies.

Noah also got spoiled with some new toys.

It was a great day to celebrate this great boy of ours!
