Father's day...

A day to pay tribute to all the wonderful father's out there.

I have a couple wonderful father's in my life.

One is my Grandpa..

He is the best dang grandpa out there.  I am grateful for the love that he shows me daily.  I am grateful for his example and the love that he has for the Gospel and for our Savior.  I am grateful that he is my Grandpa.. and I LOVE HIM SO MUCH!

My father- in- law

Keith is the best father-in-law a girl could ask for.  I am grateful for his willingness to serve and help out whenever we have needed him.  I am grateful for the love and compassion that he has shown us over the past four years.  I am grateful for his love of the Gospel and the righteous example that he shows to us daily.  I am grateful that he is my father-in-law and grandfather to Halle and the other children that we will be blessed with.

My father..

I would have to say that I am really a daddy's girl.  I love my dad so very much and I am grateful that Heavenly Father blessed me with him as my earthly father.  He is the best.  He is funny...helpful...mindful...honest...loving...charitable...and a whole lot of other great things.  I am grateful for his love of the Gospel and testimony that he has in it.  I am grateful for the love that he has shown to me throughout my whole life.  I am grateful for the example that he has shown to me to be a righteous member of the church.  Thank you for everything Dad... I love you and I am so grateful for all the things that you have helped me with.

ALAN!!

 After church... Halle had had enough of the church outfit... Thanks for being a good sport!!

Alan is an amazing father.  I always knew that he would be.  He is so kind, patient, and compassionate.  He always wants the best for Halle. He is always willing to help out when needed.  I am also very grateful for his love of the Gospel.  I am grateful that he honors his Priesthood and other church responsibilities.  I am grateful for the sacrifices that Alan makes on behalf of the family.  I am grateful that he is my partner for eternity.  He really does bring out the best in everyone that he meets and does the same for me.  I love him and I am so grateful that he is the father to our child.  You are the best a girl could ask for Alan and I love you!!!

This is a life saver...not only is it really cute... but Halle loves it!

I think that Halle has decided that this is HER blanket...

whenever she is fussy, all you need to do it swaddle her up in this blanket and she goes right to sleep.

1st cabin trip of the season

We went up to the cabin for the first time this summer this past weekend.  It was so nice to be able to go up north and just relax....  AND that is what we did.  The weather was decent and the company was great.  Friday we arrived after a five hour tour to get up to the cabin, because of road construction instead of taking three hours to get to the cabin it took five hours... it was a long drive.  But once we arrived it was wonderful.  A little cold on Friday, but we still enjoyed the day.  Saturday was also a beautiful day.  It started out a little cloudy and then it cleared up and was partly cloudy and a little warm.  Linda and her whole family came over from Pinecrest to have a BBQ.  It was fun for everyone to meet Halle and it was just great to see everyone!  Sunday was the perfect day.  I woke up to no clouds in the sky and I knew that it was time to go and lay out.  I brought Halle down to the beach and put her in under the shelter and I enjoyed the sun!  It was a perfect ending to a perfect weekend.  We are looking forward to spending a whole week up there over the 4th...  Here are some pictures from the past weekend.

we have been busy

Being a mom is great!!

It is everything that I knew it would be.

Halle is a good little girl.

She sleeps  very good at night time... i need to wake her up to eat.

She is having troubles with taking naps during the day... I am sure that soon enough we will figure out how that one works.

She eats very well!!

And keeps me busy all day... which makes the days fly by!!

I forgot my camera at a friends house.. so this picture will have to do!!
