our new home....
We closed on our home on Hart Dr. this afternoon!!!
YEA!

I will head over tonight and clean and then tomorrow Alan and the missionaries will be unloading the truck.
Hoping we will be sleeping in the new home sometime this week!

Goodbye 4336 10th Street...

Tonight we said goodbye to our first home together.  we have been so busy this past week with school, packing, cleaning, that we have hardly had time to really think about all the great times that we have had in this home.  We started in this home just the two of us and are leaving this home with three sweet precious miracles.  We made so many memories in this home and even though we say goodbye tonight, we will not forget all the good things and times that we had in this home.

Goodbye 4336 10th Street.. you have been a beautiful home to us!  

Sweet Halle sang for the first in Sacrament meeting.. and she did a great job!!!! It was so fun to see her up there and see her singing to the primary songs.  So proud to be your mom Halle!

Birthday Celebration!

Happy 96th birthday to this great man!!!

We were able to celebrate him today with a birthday celebration.

We partied at Kathy's house.

Had sloppy joes. pickles, chips.. other goodies.

and WHIP CREAM CAKE!!!!

It was wonderful to be together with family and celebrate my Grandpa.

He is one great man! 

we headed over to Grandma and Papa Blakes house after church.  We had a great lunch and then just enjoyed time together!  The kids mostly played inside because it got pretty cold.  We enjoyed decorating cookies too!!  It was a fun Sunday afternoon together with family.

we have decided to spend the next week or so sleeping at my parents house.  This way we can pack and clean without our sweet children around... can not believe that this is actually happening!

This sweet lady.. has been against naps, quiet time... and lots of other things lately.

So today.. we snuggled and watched a movie and it was great!

Heavenly Father is real and he loves us in a way that is not comprehendable. Having children has given me a glimpse into the love that Heavenly Father has for us. Thank you for sending these sweet spirits to our family.

This afternoon we headed over to my parent's house...  As we were driving over we were listening to some different primary songs.  Halle said something and it was hard for me to hear her.  So I asked her "what did you say?"  Halle speaks older and says, " MOM, I can not wait to see Jesus again."  With the biggest smile on her face I felt the spirit very strong in our car right at that moment.  My heart filled with joy and my eyes with tears.  Then I responded by saying " me either Halle, me either."  How grateful I am for the knowledge that we have that we will live again and that we will have the opportunity to see Jesus again. Thank you for this reminder today Halle... I sure needed it!

enjoys the car seat and car rides more!

loves all food.. but did get tired of carrots

We have signed a purchase agreement for a new home.
The house is located in Hart Farms.
It backs up to a park.
It has an unfinished basement (so fun to put our own spin on it)
and I think that it will be a great home to have our children grow up in.
We close on this home on April 1st or sooner!!!!

SO excited.

Heavenly Father watches out for us and He knows what is best for us.  We have seen this throughout this whole journey of the sale and also the buying of this new home.  Have faith in Him and know that he is watchful... He will be there for you.  He will make sure that things work out.  Thank you for this great opportunity Heavenly Father.  The Blake family is so very excited for this new home and adventure together!

The story goes like this...
Alan has been in charge of doing breakfast lately at the house while I work/sleep/ or work out in the morning.  I took on feeding Noah this morning.  I made him some oatmeal and he was not having it at all.  Alan walked in to the kitchen and asked how I made it.  I told him that it was oatmeal and also some bananas.  Alan then says "well of course he will not eat it..." He then proceeds to grab the bowl and add a couple teaspoons of brown sugar and hands it back to me.  I then start to feed Noah again and he DOWNS the bowl... Brown Sugar is the way to a Blake Boys heart.
