Boo-ti-ful Nauvoo

The weekend before halloween we went to Nauvoo for a little family vacation.

We went down with the Blake family.

We all meet down there.

Went to Carthage the first night.

Enjoyed the spirit that is felt at Carthage.

We then went to Hardee's for dinner.

The following day we got to attend a temple session (wonderful.. my favorite part of the trip)

Then we did some of the different tours.

ALAN GOT THE HORSE SHOE FROM THE BLACKSMITH!!!!!

Then we enjoyed a boo-ti-ful festival along the main street.

Lots of scary costumes, and yummy cotten candy.

The following morning we attended curch... their primary program (LOVED IT!)

Then headed on our way home.

Alan and I both enjoyed the spirit that we feel everytime we go to Nauvoo.

We are truly grateful for the sacrifices that were made at that time.

We are grateful that the early saints had the faith that they did.

Nauvoo was great... and we can not wait to go back again!

Funny story from the ride home... Al had changed Halle's diaper and then put her back in to the car seat.  Late down the road Halle got really upset.  Al took her out of the car seat and this is what we found...
