STAYCATION!!!!!!

We were all planned and ready to go up to the cabin for the weekend... and then plans changed!! we decided to just stay at home for the weekend but that we would rent a hotel room and go swimming for friday and saturday.  IT WAS A BLAST!!! Halle and Abel loved every minute of being in the pool.  Halle tried her hand at staying with Grammie and Grandpa at the hotel, but around 10:30pm we got a call that womby would not go to sleep.. so off Alan went to pick her up and bring her home... sad Womby.  But she feel right asleep when we got home and slept good!  Then on Saturday we packed everyone up again and went and swam in the morning.  It was a perfect staycation!!!

Abel is ALL boy

Abel gets in to trouble most of the day around here.  He is climbing up and over tons of different things.  He gets in to all things that he is not supposed to get in to.  He jumps off things.  Climbs over things.  And gets ultra frustrated when he can not do something that he WANTS to do.  This morning I heard Abe whining out in the downstairs living room.  I walked out in the living room and could not see him any where.. but still hear the whining.  All the sudden I see something moving under the trampoline and to my surprise...

Had to giggle... take a picture... and then I did help him out!

Early Birthday date with my Mom!!!

My Mom surprised me with signing us up for a canvas and chardonnay night!  I was pretty pumped and excited to go and have this experience.  The first time that my mom went she came home with an AMAZING painting.  It was gorgeous and so I was super excited to go and try my hand at it.
The verdict came back and it was a BLAST to be there with my mommy and it did help relieve some stress.. but we did not have the best teacher so I just ended up painting my own thing...
Thank you mom for the thoughtful gift and it was so much fun to spend an evening with just you!!!!

so grateful to be able to see her sweet little face everyday.

sick womby

Halle is sick.. She has had a couple hard days and finally yesterday she told  me that her ear hurts really really bad.  Took her to the dr. and sure enough ear infection.  She is on meds now and starting to act more like herself!

Face time is about as good as it gets when dad is away.

Halle does a great job talking to dad on factime... but Abel gets more upset about not being able to actually "touch" daddy.

Come home soon Alan.. WE MISS YOU!!!!
