how grateful I am for this tradition in our home. It is something that is easy to remember to do.. but really does make an impact when you read through all the different things that you are thankful for. I can not wait until our children can take part in this tradition each year. Here is the list of things that Alan and I came up with for this years thankful box.
Alan: Change of Seasons, U.S. freedoms, this box, womby wimby and Abel Meister, eternal families, a supportive wife, missionary moments, Miss Womby Wimby, my... HUNNY BUNCHES, little bobble dobble, my loving eternal wife, employment, pigs in a blanket, testimony of the Gospel, Family get togethers, beautiful days, baby #3, our decorated home, Abe's chubby face, warm bed with my hunny bunches, a woman's love, employment, and womby's attitude
Brittney: Naps, faith, espiecally watching our children grow in faith, Fridays!!!, kwik trip, running water, My Savior, productive Saturdays, soft and warm bed, sunny days, ability to learn, my mom and dad, my education, Alan Spencer Blake, Abel, Halle, sound machines, being a mom, The Gospel, power tools, warm home, practicing talents, ability to serve others, purprises, DMD, modern techonology, days spent together as a family, medicine, hot showers, sundays with the family, the lesson my children teach me daily, ALAN!!!, Alans job, Sunday Naps, spirit in our home, being close to family, eternal families, sleep!!!
So grateful to be able to look back on these list each year and see the different things daily that we are grateful for. Some are silly and some are serious but all meant something to us the day that we wrote them. Heavenly Father is really looking out for us daily and only wants the best for each of us... so grateful that we have this knowledge in our lives.
